Ordered a TRD rear strut bar on 12-23-07. Canceled order on 12-31-07 and bought a used one on the forum. Kinway said ok on cancelling the order prior to my buying one on the forum. 1-9-08 they asked if I got my refund, and I said no. They were going to check and give me an update. Last response from them was 1-24-08 saying no way I didn't receive a refund yet. Still nothing in my paypal account. Three emails since then (two of which I send priority) with no responses on where my refund is. :bang:

Good luck on getting your refund back. I got mine! But since paypal takes out a percentage it was not a full refund!! Damn paypal!!

i'm still waiting for my trd shiftknob...ordered 11/31/07 but it wasnt in stock till end of december, so i'd figure i get it sometime in January. But nothing yet. I emailed/PM'ed him, but i havent heard from him in awhile now.

That sucks. Their service is hit or miss with people here. Maybe I didn't read far enough into the buyer/seller feedback, but everything I had seen was either positive or was at least resolved.

I placed my order I believe the 22nd of Novemeber, still nothing yet. As a customer I wish they would find our parts and for-fill our needs quickly. As we are paying customers, and these parts are spendy. -_- Oh well, I'm still waiting Patiently.

finally got an email and refund today. :wiggle: i was also asked why i didn't pm them since they were a sponsor of this forum. i couldn't remember who on here was associated with kinway. so pm (karacing), if you aren't getting a email response. good luck all with the company.

I am having difficulties too, and I have spent thousands with him. At first the service was great, parts shipped quickly, but with my most recent orders.... I have had to threaten to take legal action to get part of my order, the other part is "supposedly" on back order (kinda strange when I just purchased the parts from another distributor that had to order the same part, and received it in two weeks). So to take the place of the order that has been on hold for 8 months, I requested the TRD header and to use the funds from my previous order on it. I was told on Dec. 26th that he would order the header for me without full payment "because we're friends" supposedly and he "trusts me", it will take 6-8 weeks for delivery. Well here it is 8 weeks later, no header, and no money for my parts from my previous order. When questioned about the header, apparently he didnt' order it b/c I just received a price quote when I asked about it.

Seriously, WTF? Hope you all have better luck with him, but as of 2-15-2008 he has $375.00 of my money tied up and has been like that for 8 months. ****

and if anyone is interested, I have the full email log of about 100 emails I have sent him in the past 8 months (thanks to Gmail I can keep all of them) if I decide to move forward with legal action, or just to show you all that I have had to threaten him to receive my goods.

kinway has good stuff..all the parts I usually ordered from him does come in but takes a long time but it will come...only thing ill agree with you guys is if something was on backorder..he shouldn't accept the funds unless those parts were in stock..and be notified when the parts do arrived and ready to pay..otherwise everything will run smooth...
