Anyone know of someone trying to part out a Celica, or a junkyard that has one? I need the back window to put in a Carbon Fiber Hatch. Do not want to take the window out of my stock one as if and when I decide to sell the car, I have the stock one to put back on the car.

I refuse to shell out over $400 plus shipping to an out of state junkyard. Any leads would be much appreciated. I can't seem to find one anywhere, and I've been looking!!

Wish I had some spare parts laying around, but all I have is a few stock things, a ripoff Veilside rear bumper with a crack ~ and a set of hoodwings that we can't seem to give away!

I can live with $100, no problem. If you are going to be at the meet, can you bring it with you? If not, we can arrange to come and pick it up. Let me know! Thanks.

the carbon fiber hatch rattles a lot, you lose the wiper, and the trunk locking mechanism can break. but, i'm sure it'll match your hood.
:)

i'd say just swap the glass from oem hatch to cf hatch and then back to the oem hatch again when you sell.

I have shaved the wiper off of this hatch, so I'm not worried too much about it. I don't drive the car very much anymore, so the rattling doesn't bother me either - plus, can't hear much of anything once I welded the straight pipe in.

I want to keep my OEM hatch the way it sits. Don't want to risk the chance of it leaking from switching it back and forth. Plus, I like change. I might swap out the hatches every so often. I want to keep my options open.

I have my stock hood all wrapped up and have a nice confortable place to store the hatch as well. :)

chrissi, you should put some aero catch pins on either side of this trunk, this way you would lessen the chance of rattling and you wouldnt even need to use the rear trunk lock because you can get aerocatch pins that have built in lock keys:

I know both dan and myself have these on our cars:

I have a set of them, but didn't use them on my hood. Just didn't like the look of them, kinda too bulky for me. I can deal with the rattle for as much as I drive the Celica now!

I also have a friend that will be working in Tampa this Friday and will be taking his truck down there. The hubby says he can go with the guy and pick it up. Would you be available on Friday? If not, then we can pick up at the meet. :)

Eh, sorry to ruin the thread but I'm also looking for hatch shocks.
