View Full Version : ATTN: Everyone (NW-NorCal Meet)

What's up guys? I have been talking to the NW peeps about having a NW-NorCal meet sometime in April. I want to have it on the first "Friday Night at the Drags" held at the Southern Oregon Speedway. I have a guy who challenged me to a race on that day for a hefty chunk of change. I thought it would be a good to have a meet with everyone from NorCal and the NW. The Bay Area is about 6 hours away from where I live in Southern Oregon, and the Drag strip is about 15 minutes from my house. I have at least 4-5 people for sure from the NW forum that want to go.

I don't have an exact date yet, but will as soon as I contact the owner of the dragway. Most likely in April though. I want to get as many people up here as possible. Tim (Phaqgm) will be traveling 8 hours to make it, so I know quite a few of you can handle 6 hours. Let me know if you are interested, and I will get all the details as soon as possible.

Sounds very interesting. But you probably won't get many commitments so far out. Everyone keep this in mind though!

Why not? You have plenty of advance notice, and it is a chance to meet a bunch of peeps from the board. I travel 6 hours to the Bay area just for HIN everytime they are in San Mateo. Not a big deal for a fun event. I would be willing to talk to some of the local hotels about getting a group rate as well.

Thanks man. Try and talk as many people into coming as possible. Even if they don't own a Celica. All imports are welcome.

Rex posted a poll in the NW forum to see who all intended on going. This will give us an idea of how many people intend on going. I will get an exact date ASAP. Thanks guys.
