potential problem for Air conditioner

My buddy who has a 2000 gts told me that I need to get a grill or I will have Air con problems down the road. What do you know about it?

Basically, not having a lower grille will leave your condensor susceptible to damage from debris in the road. I recommend you get one ASAP.

Large objects flying into there could possibly puncture condenser. Small rocks and bugs will still get through a grill and clog up the spaces between the fins.

A while back one member said he/she found a dead bird that they had hit in there. :eek: The only things I've seen are small sticks and some leaves getting caught in there. So I bought the 2002 model grill and installed it myself.

Makes you wonder why they didn't release the grill till '02. If you've seen the grill installed, you'd see the bumper was made to accept it. Otherwise it wouldn't have all of these pieces sticking out here and there.
