ive read about people cringing about having to weld parts of turbo kits in and not having enough space...

well i'm resourcefull. Having done tons of exaust work, I'm confident that i could fab up a new manifold with a junkyard dawg turbo on it. Intercooler? hmm im sure we could work up something too.

now, being from my old ford roots, I know very little solid information about tuning and the computers in our cars.

Now this brings me to this lengthy little post: Air/fuel guage would be needed (keep it from leaning), boost guage needed so i can tune the wastegate for lower boost rate, tachometer (included in car...),???? i know there are all sorts of widgets and stuff, but what else would i need to propperly tune my car?!?! should i just leave it up to a pro after i fab all of the physical parts on there?

an EGT better suits a turbo car over a air/fuel gauge... as for tuning the only options you have are the AFC which doesnt really do enuf like a full fuel map like you need or the TECII system which is alot fo $$ and expensive to tune..

the apexi power fc for the celica should be released in a little less than a month and that would be a very reasonable tuning platform for the turbo celicas correct me if I am wrong though larry

A/F ratio gagues are POS. I know i have one. You really need a wide band o2 sensor. My gauge reads rich but all 4 plugs were white when i took them out like a month ago
