I have decided to bottle feed my baby now and Im needing more info.
I have already read the FAQ sticky.
I already have the kit, its setting in my room. It's the NOS/Sniper kit.
I want to do a 75 but im kinda iffy on going that high because I have read two different opinions on it.
I have an 02 gts 6speed. Mods are CAI, and muffler delete.
I have already bought and installed colder plugs- Champion Copper plus. They have about 120 miles on them so far.
What are the jet sizes to make a 60 shot? and is my kit rated for whp or bhp? I cant afford to have to rebuild my engine for another couple of months so I have to be very CAUTIOUS with this kit.
The jets I have now are 36N and 24F.
Im wanting to hide my kit from others so where is a good place to locate my arming switch to where it is hidden and out of the way, but easy to access? (will be arming it in second gear.)
Can anyone upload pics for me so I can look at thier kit set ups?
Thanks.
BTW Im still new at the n20 thing so work with me.

NOS brand is crank hp. You will be fine with 75 shot. go one colder spark plugs.

ya nos is cranck hp and i run a 75 shot on a 00 celica gt-s auto on a nx kit thats rated at the wheels with no problems if been running it for about 6 months now just make sure the install is good and your safe good bottle pressure and so on should be ok if you want to wait just to be safe make sure you have good breather mods intake header and exhaust and you will really feel it and be safer with free flowing mods and a tune with e-manage would be good to so you dont run lean when sparying a 75 shot and a mwr fuel pump to go with that but thats just precausion mods as for the switchs i have mine in the center console where the little divider is and for the solenoids and lines i ran the line next to the fuel lines under the car and the solenoids behind the battery on a custom bracket the nossel is in the bottom of the intake cant even tell

when you wire the solenoids, be sure to make both solenoids have the same ground connection, otherwise, you wouldn't want your fuel connection going bad and still spraying.
You can also hook up a fuel pressure sensor inline with the arming switch so if your fuel pressure takes a dump, it won't activate the system at all.
If you are using an arming switch but want to hide it, you can toss it in the ash tray or behind the center console lid, so you can just flip it up and switch it on. activation switch could be a RPM window switch so you don't have to physically push it, but if you want the push style, just mount it somewhere that you can quickly go from the shifter to the button and back.

Window switch is a absolute for a 75 shot.
MWR fuel pump too, else you will always run a bit lean, long term it will wear out the engine faster.
NOS is crank hp, 75 is ok with some minor mods, check other post, I've written long enough on this.
I don't know NOS kit pills but NX 36/24 is too rich, 35/20 is 60hp, 36 should run 21, 38 for 25. you may want to run +1 fuel for detonation safety via added fuel but it will go 35/21 or MAX 35/22, 24 fuel is well too much, you will loose many hps and also foul the plugs more often.
Smaller the shot, longer the engine will last, you want a 50shot, forget the extra 10 or 25hp, anyways if your car is not gutted and race prep, you don't care about extra 25hp, you need to get those seconds from somewhere else.
I don't know why you want to arm in 2nd gear? You will loose LOTS of time. Better use a window switch and digital TPS sensor switch.
good luck and remember nitrous is all about install.

I dont have the tires to spray in first so I only want to spray 2nd-4th.
Im running a bit lean right now anyway cuz of my intake, but its not enough to throw a cel (A/F gauge says I am.) I dont hold lean but it likes to lean more towards the lean side most of the time.
So since im running more lean anyway is the 24 pill ok to use? Will it even me out in the a/f mix area?
I always use minimum 93 when I race anyway so the detonation isnt a problem.
Sniper kit says that 43psi give or take 5psi of fuel pressure is ok.
What is our standard fuel pressure?

LOL, everytime I read a nitrous related thread, I go thru and think 'right i'll answer this and that question' but then I see b18b1tranny has already answered them...can always count on him for sound advice  oh but he forgot to mention that NOS solenoids are garbage :fawk:
However one thing i think he missed out...you want iridium plugs NOT copper ;)
Here's a pic of my little button for activation:

In all the threads that I have read about nitrous and set ups it has said that iridium are good but copper are better.
Iridium are stock in our cars...need a 2+ colder plug, ie copper.

fuel pressure is 50-55psi, BUT we don't care about stock fuel pressure, the important part is keep normal AF readings, you don't want to mix AF ratio by switching pills from 20 to 24...that's bad. Keep 35/20 or 21 for safer. Also, our car runs quite lean stock, it's ok to have 13-1 stock high rpm. with nitrous you want 11-1 to 12-1.
Celicasaur, iridium isn't better. not because of net performance gains (iridium is better) but because you need to tune your setting with plug reading, so you need at least 4 sets of plugs, copper is 1/4 the cost of iridiums, also with nitrous and colder plugs, they foul more often so again waste of money with iridium.
NEVER FALLOW THE INSTALL GUIDE, it's build on muscle car specs, completly out of range for small engines.
Like stated before, start with a lower shot ie : 35, then 50 then 60, stop there. read plugs each time.

At the end of your first paragraph right after the being leanish stock- i have no idea what those numbers mean lol.
if our stock fp is 50-55 then why do i need the mwr pump to keep pressure up? this kit is made for our pressure range.
The kit I have IS for our size cars. its specially designed for 4-6 cylinder imports.

read the first sentence....
If you have time, download the instructions to the right of the Features. its a pdf file.
They will help explain what ive been talking about in my last few posts...
Im sorry if it seems like im debating, im just trying to get info. Comparing NOS notes to Celica notes...

I know all this NOS info about sport compact kits, it's all crap. they will tell you to spray over 3000rpm, it's supposed to be over 5000 with a 50 shot, else you will blow back in the intake and get a 1k bill.
When you spray the fuel pressure goes down, only coulpe of psi with 30-50 shot, but lots with 75 shot. With a MWR it keeps 55psi all the time.
I've written all this in other post, make a search.

Where can I find me an mwr pump?

MWR pump = Monkey Wrench Racing.com
actually it's written walbro on the pump, so I guess you could find it somewhere else.

190 is well enough. Your ebay item is like any other ebay no name china part, it may work, it may not too and cause failure.

Ours it based on the highest flowing Walbro pump which we modify so it'll fit the Toyota sending unit (with light modification) and include the parts needed for install.

You might want to research a part before dismissing it.
www.nitrousoutlet.com
They are very well known and respected in the nitrous world outside of the import community. Just because it is sold on EBAY does not mean it is a POS part.
That part will control up to 2 stages of nitrous and includes: RPM window switch, TPS activation, and a gear lockout feature for $129...the MSD-8969 (digital window switch) is just a single channel rpm window switch for $115. It also comes with a 1 year warranty and a lifetime warranty can be purchased $30. This warranty will cover the unit even if the car gets hit by lightning ;)
The unit will also work immersed in boiling water or frozen in a block of ice. It is one of the best window switches I have seen.
I apologize if I have stepped on any toes as this was not my intention, it just irks me when people badmouth products they know nothing about.
