Hi Guys,
I got my Whiteline front strut brace delivered today. $188 including GST and delivery - bargain!
The quality looks quite good, it has separate (yellow) end-plates and polished alloy bar. It is also adjustable, which will make fitting a little more interesting.
From what I've read, it seems to just be a matter of bolting it on while the car is sitting on the flat - is there any more to it than this?
I will attempt to fit it tonight, I am interested to see whether it will clear the engine and battery. Since it was developed for their Project CEX celica, it should be OK.
Now, if I can just find a set of 16" Potenza S03's..........

Well it fitted fine, but I did have to remove the cover from the positive battery terminal.
When I first sat it in place, there seemed to be very little thread on the screws exposed. After I tightened them up, it seemed OK. Only thing is, when I screwed it down, the end-plates (the ring part) became a bit warped.
Do you think this is OK? I tighted the bolts so that they felt about at tight as they were before I fitted the brace.
Well test tomorrow to see how much difference it makes.

G'day everyone,
Matty P, the plates are made from relative thin material that is strong enough for the job while being thin enough to mould to the shape of the towers.
Main thing is not to preload the brace while fitting, its designed to lock a position rather than forcing one. For those interested, there a copy of a fitting instruction sheet with pictures here http://www.whiteline.com.au/fittingsheets.htm.

PS. There's also some new stuff there about the roll couple adjusting kit developed for P-CeX.

Keep up the good work Jim. Will be getting the Whiteline handling pack by the end of the year. Just don't like the yellow parts on the front strut brace. If only you guys had it in blue. Easy to disasemble to powercoat in a different colour?

G'day everyone,
"platnm", yes I remember, have you got a Celica now?
Its actually a roll couple adjusting kit that works by changing the rear roll centre. A copy of the instruction sheet with full detail is located at
http://www.whiteline.com.au/docs/211_kca364.pdf . Quoting from the sheet, the kit is designed to increase the rear roll couple by lowering the rear roll centre. This greatly reduces the inherently
