View Full Version : For those of you looking for the 17" stock wheel option

I have the enkei RP02's, and they are basically the 5 spoke GTSwheels in 16. I have the 17 x 8, 35 mm offset with sumitomo HTRZ II 235/40 tires, and so far they are the shiznit. If you want to see the enkeis, go to enkei.com and check them out. I highly reccomend for the subtle 5 spoke look. BTW, they weigh in at about 19.5 lbs for people wondering, thats not too bad compared to the rest of the wheel options.

stock wheels are eons above the enkeis in radial stability and resistance to deformation...

no! ... the stock 17" wheels that come as an option on the matrix are over 40% stronger than the enkei 17" 5 spokes that came on the eclipse GT.

Ohh....do you know in comparison to the stock 16" GT-S wheels?

no i dont.. but i cant imagine them being weaker than the 17s.

ya, the enkei's are not all theyre cracked up to be. stock wheels are better IMO.

(hey gtslaid... Cracked up to be... bwahaha, get it? :D )

GTS laid, do you happen to know how the RP02 model happens to be in terms of build quality?
