remove wing?

Hey guys, i'm new here and need some help.
I've had my 2002 celica gt for a while now and I suddenly decided i want to start customizing it. I debadged it and got some smoked decals for the taillights. And i've been thinking about taking the wing off. I just wanted to know what everyone's opinions on that. Does it look better with or without?

Another question I have is if anyone knows exactly how I go about taking it off. Sorry i'm not that much of a car guy.

you're rite dude!!!! i feel that too, since our car is sitting a bit low, i constantly got blinded by other vehicle's beams, especially if they are 4WD....

My 05 Celica had the rear high tint. Reduced glare tremendously spoiler helped too. :gap:

Thanks for all the input guys. I decided against it based on what atrac7GTS said. I have a totally stock body so it would just look weird without the wing. And it's just the stock gt wing. So it basically look exactly like this this (http://www.newcelica.org/photopost/data/500/Rear3.JPG) except without any badges. A friend of mine(who knows alot more about cars, and specifically celicas) actually told i should get it lowered, would it look better wingless that way?

imo even lowered a totally stock body wingless looks iffy....because then from the back it just looks like your everyday, basic import, gas saving DD...that's just my 2 cents though, if you get it lowered, see how it looks without a wing, you never know, you may like it

keep it, if you just got it, there's other parts of the exterior that need to be worked on esp. if its stock to pull off the wingless look successfully...imo

I have been thinkin of doing this to mine too..but I don't think it will look good unless you have a drop and some rims. I have around 2.5" drop with stock gt wheels..probably will look bad.
