1zz and c56 FS

Whatsup guys....well im plannin on doing a 2zz build & c60 tranny swap and was wondering if anyone is interested in buyin the 1zz and C56 (gt) tranny all for 1700+shipping.

1zz for 1000 + shipping
C56 for 1000 + shipping

if sold seperatly thats the prices.

1ZZ has about 30k mi on it. Its an 05' 1zz from a Corolla S that i got installed about a month and a half ago so its basically brand new....i still have the reciept and it was installed at 1320 Motorspots in Vista, CA.

C56 Tranny has about 50k miles on it....had that installed back in May 07 and have the reciept for that as well. It was installed at Manuels Trans in Bellflower, CA.

DBW has nothing to do with the engine itself. It means that the throttle body is controlled electronically (hence "by wire") rather than a cable (hence "drive by cable").

The 03+ cars do have a DBW setup. What I'm trying to explain to you though is that you can buy an 03+ engine for say a 2000 Celica and it will still work. You would be using your existing wiring harness, intake, and throttle body which is DBC and not DBW.

There may be differences in some of the sensors (maybe the knock sensor I've read?) but you can replace that with the knock sensor from your old block. The engine itself is pretty much the same.

Ok well thats the first time i heard of that difference in the engine. Thanks for the inpute that brought a lot of knowledge to me. Well just to let you know.....as far as i know there is nothing wrong with the engine. I'll have the guys at 1320 check it out befor i ship it off. well madangel seeing how a gt brand new tranny costs 1300-1600 i think for the shape its in 1k is low enough. but since some pple dont agree i'll lower it to 850+shippin

Why are you have trying to burn the sale thread. You know nothing of his future plans. He is not doing a 2zz swap. He is going for a 3zz. I am glad you bought the right car. However, most people have to work with what we can afford until we can upgrade it or get something better. Please do post anything here anymore. If you have anything to say you can PM me. Do not burn the sale thread.

DBW is only on the 03+ 2zz. The 1zz were not changed to that setup.
