Just put an Injen CAI on my car and now it is acting strange. After the car has had time to cool down, in other words hasnt run in a while, I go to move and it doesn't want to respond to the gas. After this, it is fine doesn't do it again. Although it doesn't do this all of the time, it still bugs me. It didn't start to do this until I put on the CAI, it could be related but maybe not. All of the hoses are in place do its not that.
Thanks for any help.

injen cai is known to make your car bog down a little in the low rpms.. once u pass over 4k rpm then it should be a whole different ball game..

mine started doing that a while back and now got way worse. only thing that puzzles me about it though is i had the intake for about 9 months and it was fine. i've tried cleaning the MAFS and filter but neither did anything. now almost everytime i start driving it bogs down really bad and barely moves. whatever it is, its really annoying. also, toyota just told me my intake was causing it and won't fix it. oh well, i'll have the stock airbox in back soon anyways (im selling the car this summer).

i have that problem of it shaking like its cold, i thought it was the brakes, but i believe its the engine, it occurs when i stop at a red light usually. try to see if all your piping its properly connected to the vaccuum and stuff.
I had similar symptoms; but it was just my spark plugs that needed changing.

We have the same problem in our celica, when its cold and we go to take off (especially on hot days) it acts like its getting no gas. I'll try changing spark plugs and see what happens.
Welcome to the club. I have an AEM CAI. If you let it 'warm' up for about a couple of minutes it doesn't bog as much but I've had my intake for about 3 months now and if I drive my car as soon as I get in it, it's so slow.
