Can you autocross with 225/40/18? I am just looking to try autoxing out and if I like it I will keep doing it.

It does not specify what size, so I would think you can. I would not go with anything bigger than 16's, personal preference.

Oh ok Then I guess when I get 18" rims I will just keep my 16" stock rims and get good autocrossing tires for them and when I go to autocross I can just pop them on. What type of tire is good for autoxing. I am guessing a soft one. Also what type of tread. I dont really know much about tires. I just know there are ones with very few patterns on them and ones with a lot. lol Any body have any suggestions. Thanks

For stock wheels, these:

They don't cost much and they stick.

You can change them ahead of time and drive out on them too.

Yeah I would definatley go with you drew. I saw your video of your first event. good job. I want to autocross just for fun I am not into getting all serious over it. We will have to see if there is an event sometime in between us and we could meet up.

15X7 lightweight rims (motegi tracklite, rotas, etc. under 12lbs each) and 225/50R15 tires

I've tried a couple of tires and best I found for track and legal on the road too : Ra1
best for wet is no question asked : T1S, now called T1R.

all toyo but all pricey...sorry, performance has a price.
