i know theres an audio section, but it seems more into the systems than what i have to ask. also i believe i can get more responses here, so yeah.. can you please not move the thread? :)

well i have a 32x burn cd-r and i'm using tdk 32x max 700mb/80min cds and i have nero 5.

well i been trying to make some audio cds. they play on my computer and all, but when i put it in my car they dont always play. like i'll play track 1-3 then like 4-16 they dont. or if they do, it sometimes takes a while. there was a time earlier today that ALL of them played. like i go to it and they just play.

i kinda doubt its the stock cd player cuz i have some old cds that were burnt by my sister that still works.

can someone help me out?

I had this problem at one time too. Try to not burn it at the maximum speed try doing it one step lower.

What happens to mine (adaptec) if the music files i use are not in my MY MUSIC folder ... they will all be 1 continuous song .. and it will only play like the first 3. Put them all in the "my music folder then try it out!

for audio, always burn at the lowest speed possible. if you burn the at the highest speed the info burnt to the cd can sometimes lose the clarity of the music it's self, and for some cd players they have a hard time to reconize as in you case. data, it doesn't matter how fast you burn that but try the cd's at the lowest speed. i have always did this and had no problem with my burner(plextor).

Try using a different color CD. If you're using cds that have a blueish or greenish color to it, then those aren't as reflective as other colors. I burned a few TDK cds but they wern't good. The other cheap ones I buy that work for me are the Imation cds.

First thing to try is burn at lower speed..
Second... sometimes different brand of CDs doesn't work..
Couple of friends I have theird car CD player doesn't play certain brands of CD...

also make sure your cd's can be burnt at 32x...some older ones are only up to 16....

It'll work better if your using a 650 meg CD instead of a 700 meg one, from my experience.

I use the sony CD-Rs and I don't have any problems with them since they are not as dark. I've used memorex and tdk and every so often they have difficulty reading. When I burn cds I use the next fastest speed my burner has so that the info does not go below the buffer and so far have not had skips because of that.
