I took off my needles today to take a look at my gauge cluster ... when i put them back on it seems like the speedo and tach are going up much faster than they're supposed to be and giving me the wrong readings. Does anyone know how to recalibrate them so they do give me the write readings?

before I took off my needles, I verified the calibrations for both tachometer and speedometer using a function generator. Then when I finished, I re-applied that signal to get the same settings.
