Welcome to the forum! I know what it is like to have a wife that does not want you modding a car but mine has grown to accept it...hopefully yours will too.
I hope you enjoy modding the Celica. If I were you I would do the suspension first because it will make the most difference in driving the car. The Celica handles great from the factory but with some good springs and struts and sway bars it is really fun to drive through the twisties. The CAI and exhaust are good to add for the fun to drive factor but don't expect much power.
Good luck modding!

thanx for reading my thread
I understand about the power thing but im just doing it for my wife, still will be her daily driver! I think she will enjoy it better with a few mods! I own other vehicles and motorcycles for when I get a need for speed!

Welcome to the forum!
If anything you should see if your wife would want the sound of exhaust while driving everyday, maybe play a few sounds clips from youtube?
Also keep in mind if you have a lot of rain in your area before you decide to install a Cold Air intake. Or at least brief your wife on hydrolock!

Ooooh I absolutely love the older style M3s. Congrats on a new Celi! Personally Id say just go bolt-ons. If it's a daily driver, keep it simple and fun. Little noise, some looks, stop there :D

I was extremely upset when I received what looked like part of my CAI system. They some how managed to screw my order up and left some components out. So in the end I did not take the front bumper off because lack of parts. I was not having a great mechanically inclined weekend, I tried replacing the hatch shocks and once again murphy came into play. The pivot bolts stripped on both sides, so I had to make a run to the hardware store and buy a really tiny vise grip to get in between the gap. As far as the fog lights are concerned I purchased the fog light bracket instead of building some. Till then, still waiting on parts

Welcome and good luck on your project. It does take patience to get the job done. Regarding the wife, i am married too and I had to convince my wife the mods I performed were worth while. After I finished, we went out for a long drive and she was convinced. Keep us updated.
