FS: Toyota Security Remote

I'm seeing if anyone wants to purchase my remote from my 01 GT. It recently stopped working even though the light still lights up (I even replaced the battery). I also tried to reprogram it to my car and it still didn't work. It is a genuine Toyota part with the lock / unlock buttons, a red light at the top, and the panic button on the back. So, essentially, this buy would be for a tech person who could figure out what was wrong with it and refurbish it (perhaps to sell it again or use it). The FCC ID: BAB237131-056. Canada: 2024 102 1519. I purchased a used one for $22, so I'll let this go for $5 plus shipping. Since it could probably fit in an envelope, I don't imagine shipping to be much at all. Let me know if you're interested and feel like tinkering with it. I thought there used to be a website that purchased these, but I can't find it anymore. Anyways, thanks!

did you check the 7.5 A fuse in your car...? i had the same thing happen to me recently. the remote worked and it lit up, but the car wasn't responding due to the fuse. after i put in a replacement fuse, it worked like a charm :)
