Okay so here's the deal, I already searched but didn't really find anything helpful, but then again I'm a little on the s l o w side so maybe I over looked it, but getting to the point... I want to know if I can swap out the OEM VIP Keyless Entry unit from one celica into another. I recently just purchased another gts and wanted to pull out the VIP system from my other car and put it into this (my other car already has an aftermarket alarm system). My question is, is it just a plug/play system where my new gts is already prewired for it or is it really like a new complete unit. I want to be able to just pull the unit out from my other gts and slap it in the new one. If it is plug/play, would I need to reprogram the system or would there be no need since it was already functional and already has a designated fob remote. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.
