What is the difference for the look with 17-7 and 17-8 ? with a 215-45-17 tires.

and on the look a 17-8 with 35 off set and 17-7 with ??? offset?

17x7=215/45/17= skinner rim less tire=less grip

17x8=225/45/17 or 235/40/17 depends on rim specs.=wider rim more tire=more grip

thats why all race cars have wider rims=more grip :thumbup:

You're not gonna want 215 tires on a 17x8" rim--they're not wide enough (I just ordered 235/40s for mine). 17x8 with 35 offset is perfectly flush with the Celica's fenders. 17x7 with 35 offset will be tucked in .5 inches (35 offset is really as low as you should go). Any higher offset is going to be tucked in more.
