i have a 2000 toyota celica gt. i just want to know if i putted a 17 inches rims on this car, do i need to put a bigger brake kit? if not, is this dangeous? thanks.

YOu do NOT need a bigger brake kit. Its ok. Heck i have 18's with stock brakes.

The brakes on the celica are some of the best in its class. No need for larger ones.

No, no need for larger brakes... unless you putting 23" 40lb dubbs on it....hehehehe:chuckles:

Don't worry about changing the brakes unless you do something insane like mentioned above putting Dubbs on it.

i hate my GT brakes. plus they don't have ABS.

Celica stock brakes are one of the best in its class. I like how my brakes grab. What is so big about ABS? ABS is not really needed if you ask me.
