is carbon dash really that much of a difference?

planning on getting carbon fiber dash, 00 celicas didnt have an option to get them.. anyways.. is it really much better having it or is it just glamour? need some opinions and pricing..thanks guys

they charge u 339.03 at a normal dealership, i think its a rip off unless u can get a discount, its not worth anythin over 250 in my opinion

It's my understanding that:

the carbon fiber fron the factory is made by aculaser
its stock onto the regular console parts
it does not replace the pieces
merely put on top of

is this correct?

You are correct and IMO, it makes a big appearance difference. The only thing I don't like about mine is that dirt and and various "munge" collects around the seams and is difficult to clean. I wouldn't trade mine for stock, though. Good luck and enjoy!

if you want very high quality (read=expensive) dash kits try out legend5.com... they do have the celica's kit there.
