Ugly Automatic Shifter

I really hate the penis looking automatic shift nob we have in our cars. Anyone recommend any cool replacement nobs?

There's not really too much you can do with that knob. I'm tellin you, that would suck if I had an auto.....I've seen some cool stuff that guys have done with making boots for the auto shifters though. A guy from my town did this to his:

It's a family car, so it has to be Auto... I usually drive the manual 6GC around.

But yes, it does suck looking at it this god damn thing. It'd be awesome to get a replacement that look stock... even a T-shaped old school shifter I wouldn't mind.

nah, no rice in this pic...:puke: i just dont understand whats the need for all this crap in a car thats supposed to be sporty and economical. buy a van or a sedan for all that ice...oh well to each his own just venting


back to topic, check out redline goods shift boots they make them so u can use with a auto too i believe. IMHO if the shifter bothers you that much ditch the car and get a manual 7th gen

who cares what the auto shifter looks like. when you go for a drive you touch it only once and you should be looking at the street not the shifter anyways. there are a lot of shifters out there much uglier than the celica's.

btw w/ that celica that's not "rice",
when the passanger airbag deploys, does an LCD screen come crashing into their head instead of a bag of air? Maybe he doesnt wanna miss a hair of a second of fast and the furious.. not calling him a ricer or anything.. or implying.. not that he already has enough screens to watch while he drives down the road.
What could be the uses of all those screens anyways? I could understand a GPS but damn.
as for him not being ricer, isnt another def. for a ricer is making your car look like something it's not?
I know drifters go crazy w/ the blinking LED's, atleast some I saw did, also they hadcrazy looking body kits, then you see ricers tryin to do the same.
Wouldnt making an auto look like a 6 speed be kinda the same?
