:shrugs::confused: Currently have 205/45/17 Kumho 712 and they are shot. Inner edge is completly bald. Tein S-techs and Tociko Blues. Had alignment done when installed about two years ago and I was told a didn't need an camber kit. Got one installed about 2 months ago. Getting new 215/45/17 and I don't want the same problem to come back. Anyone have a good alignment setting that won't wear out the tires.

What I hear is that toe affects tire wear more than camber, so you might want to look into getting that adjusted, esp if your tires aren't noticeably cambered like so: / \

Unrelated question: How is your S-Tech+Tokico Blues combo working out? I've been considering that setup, but heard that the Blues tend to wear out pretty quick...

if you really want your tires to wear right and last longer you need a better suspension set up,like coilovers or swift springs,c-one springs, trd springs on your tociko blues, than get a good Alignment from a shop that is known for good alignment set ups,and you'll be set.

Yeah, the inside of my front tires have no tread, so I moved them to the back. I need a toe and camber alignment.

The ride quality was good but over the years it has just gotten worse. I feel every road bump and it feels like the car bottoms out every time I hit a bump.

Anyone else have this problem. There is no way the struts blew that quick. Less than 20k.

Hate to say it, but Tokico Blues have a pretty bad reputation on any drop over ~1.2 inches. I wouldn't doubt it if your shocks are blown. :ugh:

Any sugestions on new struts/shocks that can handle the 1.4 drop?

KYB AGX is the most recommended. Also, Koni Yellows and Tokico Illuminas should work.

You said it yourself. You bottom out when you hit bumps.

I thought the HP's could handle the 1.4 drop.

Skunk2 coilovers are good. I have them.

I did the strut test and they flet fine. HP spring drop is 1.25. Tein 1.4. Didn't think the difference would damage the struts.

I'm not sure, but I think it would have to do with the spring rates as well. Tokicos are geared toward softer springs, and the Tein S-Techs are kind of harsh. But don't take my word for it...
