The stock cd player in my car is sensitive to scratches on cds a lot. It skips like crazy. The Sony deck I had on my last car didn't care. Anyone else have/had this problem?

YEah... all of them had this problem.... I see your new so Ill teach you something before you get flamed....In the upper right hand corner of your screen there is a search button. Use it to find threads about what you looking for (for example...press the seach button and type in "CD player skipping" or "stock cd player"
You'll find lots of stuff...like ones for sale....changing the LED colors on them, but just look through them and you'll more than likely find what your looking for. THEN, if you don't find what your looking for post a new thread about it. See what I mean?:naughty: anyway....WELCOME TO THE BOARD

... I did search for it. I didn't find anything about "skipping" that's related to the cd player so I started a new thread. Besides, the term "cd" is not recognized by the seach engine as it is shorter than the minimum length of 3.
Well, at least I know that I'm not the only one who experiences this problem.

Shaddap noobs ;). Yes, alot of people have had skipping problems. I solved it by chucking the stock radio and buying something much nicer. :)

Mine is worse. It will stop playing the CD and the screen reads ERR 1, then it spits the CD out.
