HELP-electrical problem!! PLEASE?!?! :)

Help-please! My cig lighters dead.Ive got a hardwired radar detector wired to the back,which still works. But my phone charger doesnt work anymore. I bought a new charger and it doesnt work. I bought a new cig lighter assembly, and it doenst work either. No fuses blown or anything.....I am completely stumped on this one!!! Can anyone help me?

Theres two wires from the radar det. cord-I ve got the hot wire bolted to the nut on the back of the lighter assembly and the ground wrapped around the riveted wire on the base.

Look at the terminals for the connector for your cig. lighter - make sure they aren't spread / loose and making poor contact. If you have a DVOM check to make sure you have 12v on teh grey wire and good continuity to ground on the white wire with black tracer.

Looks like I need to head to radio shack......
