I've been looking around, but i can't find it anywhere. They are bigger brake rotors that work with the stock calipers and come with a caliper relocation kit, i'm almost sure that it's powerslot rotors but please correct me if i'm wrong. does anybody know where i can get an entire kit? any info would be appreciated. thanks.

it is a much better quality and performing setup than what you were initially looking at...

Please do not buy these. Search about it here on why.

what you are asking about is:

http://www.powerslot.com/pages/power_slot_plus.html

but it really does nothing but look abit better. go real bbk if you want looks+ stopping or just nicer pads/rotors if you want better stopping.

that is what i was looking for, but im still shopping around. Im only looking in to it because my brakes are going to need to be replaced in the next year or two and if im going to do it i want to get a little more performance out of it. im not looking for an entire big brake kit because i know thats a couple thousand dollars for a full front and back set up, but just a little more performance. if powerslot is bad, what should i go with?

there is actually no full front and back bbk setup for our car only fronts. the powerslot is not really a performance mod. the rotor itself is abit thicker and adding a new pads it will "feel" like you are getting a performance boost but no not really. if you dont have the cash i'd just get new oem size rotors and better pads. the powerslot ones look cool but for the price you can save abit more and get a real wilwood bbk for around 1200

if they only make bbk's for the front, what do people do about the back rotors? i mean, wouldn't it look kinda stupid with big calipers and rotors in the front and puny little rotors and calipers in the back?

lol yes... yes it does. someone tried using the powerslott (aem) "bbk" on the rear with a real bbk on the front but the powerslot(aem) rotor is thicker and it kept locking up. Another issue with the aem/powerslot is that with a larger rear rotor and the same tiny rotor it looks even smaller.

Most bbk's are 12" rotors and 4 piston calipers and the rears are 10" so its not a massive difference. Unfortunatly my kit is abit larger and the rear is significantly noticeable. The best you can do is color match the rear caliper and style match the rear rotors so atlease it all somewhat flows

tiny rear rotors :( You do have 1 option. you can have a relocation bracket made to fit a larger size rotor but the cnc and fitting will cost around 500'ish just for the bracket

ok, i see what youre saying, but im still curious about something....now i dont really know a whole lot about brakes, but isnt it a bad thing to have REALLY good front brakes and kina ok back brakes? like i said, i dont know a whole lot, but isnt it a good idea to have all the brakes upgraded to keep the braking effort even between all four brakes somewhat even?

and another question about making it flow right... do you think that it would be a good idea to get something like the stock sized brembo rear rotors to keep the slotted look going with all the brakes, and maybe a little extra stopping power for the back rotors? or is it a bad idea to mix and match brakes like that? thanks again for your help.

the rear brakes stock really does not do much. i think someone said 80%F and 20% rear or soemthing so no it doesnt really matter. As for mixing rotors, as long as the rotors are exact size as stock then it doesnt matter (diameter and thickness). You will really not get much more "power" out of rear rotors but new rotors and pads can help.

You will also hear the correct argument that the stock brakes are more then enough for our cars even in autox situation. Our car is light and our brakes are very good. simply upgrading to better rotors and better pads will be more then enough power and can add some looks.

The main reason for bbk for most is for show. I know i really enjoy my bbk but it is way too big for the car. i do not get 1/4 down the pedal before the car stops but i did it because they look great and i like saying i have a one of a kind bbk :D

ok, thanks for all your help. I'll keep looking in to ch33z's bbk and see where that takes me, if that doesn't come through, ill probably go with stock sized brembo rotors. which brake pads would you recommend for performance? any good places to get them from? thanks again for all your help.

mixing trd bbk with brembo rear rotors has been done before as they match pretty well in looks. for pads i really could not tell you for sure as i have not tried many. Right now for the rears i am using Axxis ultimates and they seem to do well but dust like crazy. i'm sure someone else on here will be more help for pads or try searching "pad" in the brake section, you may find some more info there
