Performance Parts for a 2000+ Celica

Hey, I was wondering if anyone here has a list of performance parts which can raise the horsepower of a Celica. This would be greatly appreciated.

(Note: please include the obvious like Intake, and please specify a brand!)

thx, but i have been reading all of the threads, adn not one of them tells you a specific turbocharger for the GT-S. Any info on that would also be appreciated.

thats because there is none, if you want a turbo in the near future you need to go custom

two corrections..

first.. the Blitz intake is a short ram, not CAI

the other is the turbo.. there are a few kits out there though none are for sale as of yet.. one is xs engineering, another is EIP tuning..

Custom job's. Eathier would run you in exess of 6000 + the cost of tuning.

Hmmm, I would be surprised if EIP release there turbo stuff in kit form, its a big job they have done on that car. Maybe they will stage it so you get a low pressure system and then get the engine/ECU work done when your ready for the next stage, they seem to do that with the VW/Audi kits.

yeah i doubt EIP will ever release it as a full kit to the public.. but im sure theyd turbo a GTS if you brought it to them which id do if I had a Celica since I live close to them

so buy another celica and turbo it:)

Ive actually pondered this but I got way to much $$ wrapped up in the Eclipse now considering the engine will be fully built soon

Ive actually thought of picking up a Celica from a junk yard thats pretty bad off and fixing it..

Larry. Your Eclipse can run 350hp easy. I know some DSM guys who are telling me to get a GSX instead of another Celica or MR2 Spyder.

All a GS-T or GSX needs to run that power is a K&N air filter with the honey-comb core cut out, nice intake, intercooler, and turn up the boost. The stock internals will handle the power up to 400hp.

All I got to worry about is not getting a DSM with "cam walk." I gotta find a good way to check to see if the one I get, if I get one, has "cam walk."

actually a DSM will take alot more then that to get 350hp. the stock turbo is good for about 220whp which is around 260hp.. 350 requires a larger turbo, fuel pump, injectors, AFPR etc etc etc..

but before I blew up the headgasket I put down 280 to the wheels untuned so I was around 330hp, once i got it tuned it woulda been around 350hp

hey 350-400 is right where i am shooting if apexi would ever get there act together andd send me a power fc, larry do you have any traction advice you could relinquish to me I am having traction problems already and the turbo and internals aren't even in yet so i am getting a little nervous my tires are crappy falken ziex's or something but I will be running on hoosier slicks i think
