Hey guys, need your help with installing a dvd player in my 01 GT. I bought lpphreakx06's clarion single din dvd player. And i noticed that the connector to my regular CD deck doesnt fit. Is there another adapter we need to put to connect to the brain for power?? What other parts do i need? Thanks for the help guys

i think he's talking about the harness. the harness stuff is pretty complicated and there have been many posts and threads on the harness already. take a look here

just go to best buy and ask for a toyota harness. There should only be one toyota harness available that Metra makes. Then get that and wire it to the clarion harness. Done!

if you had enough time to buy one and make this thread, you should have had ample time to google something about installing and learn about harnesses. if you don't know what one is, find you a good step-by-step online instruction, such as crutchfield's or others... and just have at it. if you still don't feel comfortable with it, just take it somewhere professional. 80 dollars for peace of mind? if i wasn't an installer through two years of college, i would take that deal any day.
