I know that there are a lot of LSD's on the market for our cars in the US.

BUT, does anyone know of any available in Australia? If so, any idea of cost?

Damn useless TRD doesn't make them, otherwise I could get one through Penrith Toyota!

Thanks,
Matty

I know for sure that TRD stopped making the Helical type LSD which is same type, found on the Honda Integra Type R. But I still thought they are only selling clutch type LSD's now. These are more track orientated LSD setup.

I am still waiting for/hoping that Kaaz (Japan) will still be going to release a helical type LSD this year opr early next year.

I say budget around $2200-2400 to purchase, about $800 for the install.

Thanks M SPEC.

I was afraid that it would be about that much - don't know if it is really worth it for $3,500.

If only money wasn't an issue!:wtc:

I looked on the TRD website and they didn't have a listing for a Celica LSD at all! Only those stupid 4x4's.

Why didn't damn Toyota put one on in the first place?!?!?! I reckon that is the major failing with the stock Celica. That and the unsightly ride height.

Yeah I know its hard to justify spending that much money on the Celica. Some days driving the car I'm like "I love this car", and other days it's like "damn, WTF am I doing? I need to stop spending money on this car and use it for something else."

But my intention is build my car for circuit work slowly, plan to get a CAMS licence sometime next year.

agreeable and nice choice for your car...building a track orientated performance car...far supersedes cars that are just built for one thing in mind...speed.

But remember a car is only a machine and its driver that actually makes the difference on the track..

Cheers
