So when i took off my wheels to remove the tires for powder coating, i inspected the tires and noticed that i need to go ahead and buy new tires. Right now i have Falken Fk451's, and have liked them alot. I was looking at Getting the newer Falken FK452's. Anyone have any other tire suggestions or have input on these tires. For 215/35/18's these tires run 110 a piece so im looking for a tire in or below this price range. Thanks

I'm replacing my 451s with 452s also. I havent heard anything about the new tires but I chose them because my tire shop replaced my punctured 451s with these. Those tires are $100 +shipping at edgeracing. I would have probably gone with Kumho SPT. I hear good things about this tire especially in the rain. They're $100 at tirerack.

The 452's dominate for street driving. There is no question about it. I paid about $380 for four 17" tires that perform. Not like that crap Neo Gen or spending tons on Pirelli bricks or a short shelf life greasy 615's.

I realize the price is going up also, so it all depends and yes this will be moved.

Kuhmo FTW ive been through tires they dont last as long as other tires but..

in the rain you can drive like its dry up till mid life of the tire but they grip correctly to give you an advantage on street. if you decide to do a street light run. track idk.

im tellin you though Kuhmos try them out. its worth it.

A number of autocrossers use the SPTs as their wet tire.
