I think they add something poisonous to NOS so
people won't sniff it to get high

Yeah.... unfortunatly like propane they add stuff to it to make it smell nasty, i'm not sure if it's poisonious or not but it sure will make you nausious.

If you want to get high off N20 you're gonna have to steal some from your local dentist

Nope the dentist uses N2O too, laughing gas, makes you kinda sleepy too yes.... When i had my wisdom teeth taken out they put me on N2O before the IV, man that stuff is great - But forget about getting the good stuff without some sort of medical license or a damn good reason.

Oh yeah, forgot about the whipcream.

A while back they had problems in the grocery stores around here with the whip cream canisters aparently they would be full of whipcream but wouldn't spray because the gas was gone... hmmm...

There is a big difference between medical grade and automotive grade nitrous. For your health/life...I would STRONGLY suggest not inhaling whats in your car.

LOL, doing inhalants is the most idiotic thing ever. If you are going to get high (I don't like drugs at all, so not suggesting you do any at all) at least try and find a way that won't leave you half-retarded or dead.

The only difference is that automotive nitrous has sulfer added to it because it gives it a smell and prevents MOST people for huffing it..Ive had a couple of dumb ass buddies hijack my bottle for a huffing party....

BTW, rumor has it that medical grade N20 runs better in your car because it has no additives...Ive tried medical and noticed no difference

Info I found out on the net:

Medical Grade Nitrous
Medical grade nitrous...has been purified for human use.

Auto Grade Nitrous
Nitrous used for performance is mixed, with hydrogen sulfide (the rotting egg gas) which will make anyone breathing it VERY ill. (Hydrogen Sulfide can cause permanent damage to lung tissues and nerve endings.)

i heard that if you use a filter (also read: Bong) you can huff it just like medical grade. I also hear that if you dont filter it...you will be in a world of trouble aka. illness and possibly death. Hope this helps :)

Hey guys im a dentist...
Some information for you:

1) Even if you had pure medical grade nitrous, you don't want to breath in 100% pure nitrous. Thats way too strong. When its administered, its given as a mix with pure oxygen, with nitrous only being about 10-40%

2)in order to produce a euphoric state, you must breath in this nitrous/oxygen mix for a few minutes so that the nitrous can pass through the lungs and into the blood stream. And once you stop breathing it in, the "high" is rapidly reversed. So even if you could filter the automotive grade, a few huffs would not produce any noticable changes.
