hey guys i have tein coilovers and went to lower them today for the summer. got 3 of 4 lowered fine but the last one was stuck on like cement. i got the lower locking ring but the upper spring seat won't budge.
things i've tried:

pb blaster
hammering on the spanner wrench
propane torch
hammering all around the spring seat itself
sticking the spanner wrench inside of a 2ft pipe (bent one of the spanner hooks)

i don't know what else i can do besides take it somewhere and i don't think there's any places by me that deal with coilover suspension ever and even they might not be able to get it lose.

I have to break them off before and order new ones. The metals don't react very well together.

I've had mine stuck pretty well before, too. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to use some anti-sieze on them next time.

have you try an air tool (acts like a impact hammer). That's how I got mine to budge last time.

like an air chisel? i think they were concerned about not breaking the collar since i didn't have a new one on hand. hopefully they will be a little more aggressive when i go back with the new collar.
