i think the RMM or similar is the best because it's a one piece.

:werd: none of them do much but the RMM bar is probably the best one for the Celica.

On a fwd car a strut brace won't do much until you push it to the limit. I personaly have the Tanabe Sustec front strut brace and i genuinly felt less "side-to-side" wobble when rallying on 25 mph turns at a recent celica meet.

by the sounds of it, the front strut bar is just for show and doesn't do anything? Correct me if i'm wong.

That is very true.

My experience with strut bar is at first you won't feel it unless its at limit, however, once you remove the strut bar you will feel the steering turns easier but feels loose. Turning of the car feels loose also.

Then when you install it back, right away you will notice the steering will feel heavier to turn and you can feel the turning of the car is sharper.

I am yet to install front strut bar in my Celica, and my experience with front strut bar is on 2003 Corolla. Seeing the Celica's top mount is joint with the firewall (so is the Corolla) I believe the amount of flex should be minimal, but then again extra support by the strut bar will help nonetheless.

It just depends if that's what you are aiming for or not. But the thing that made re-consider front strut bar is it block the air from the scoop to cool down the header which is a very useful feature in this car.

I felt the same when I installed the Tanabe front strut bar.. Not enourmous changes but yeah lil' heavier steering but more precise..

When I restored/modified a CRX recently, there were strut bars for top and bottom both front and rear. Is the same true for Celica? Advantages/disadvantages?
I have an '03 GT with the ground effect body kit and spoiler and have added TRD suspension (adjustable struts and stabilizer bars), braided brake lines, drilled disks, short-throw shifter. What would be a good next step?
TIA

Rear strut bar, 3 point preferably. More noticeable difference on turns.
