ok ever one i am gonna clear some things up about the 1zz TRD supercharger
1. YOU DO NOT NEED THE 5TH INJECTOR I talked to the person at TRD that devloped that supercharger, he said and i quote
"If you have a emanage unit all you need to do is get 500cc or better injectors and you do not need the 5th injector that is mounted to the supercharger just plug the fuel hole and throw away the fuel line the kit comes with and get the car tuned to run that way. all the 5th injector does is add a bit of fuel to you combustion so you can use the stock fuel injectors"
2. THIS MEANS THAT YOU DO NOT NEED THE TRD ECU all the TRD ecu is.... is a piggy back with a map for the TRD charger all it does is control the 5th injector.
So what does this mean??
1. well throw away your fuel rail that comes with the TRD kit.
2. get some 500cc + injectors
3. get a greddy emanage
4. get a boomslang emange harnes http://www.coolcart.com/cgi-bin/shop/coolcart.exe/boomslang/harness
5. get a tune
6. have fun
Hope this will clear some of the confusion about the 1zz TRD

yeh there is a problem with that link its no good there is no supercharger there... i called it is old on there server they and i quote "NEED TO UPDATE".. IE i had them do a dealer search for all of the TRD superchargers at every toyota dealer or distributor and i managed to get the last one TRD does not sell superchargers to the public you gotta be a dealer to get it all that is still out is
9 ecu's 6 of wich are for a M/T in LA cali
and 1 ecu kit in NY for a M/T <This is where mine came from>
and if u do want to buy the ECU kit for some ungodley reason toyota of NY told me that they would sell the ECU kit at cost for "$1100.00" i said i can spend $300 on 500cc injectors instead now that was cost @ $1100.00

Interesting write-up on using a Matrix supercharger on a GT, and how to overcome some of the issues with the install.

If its a repost, well then :whogives: It might be new for someone else.

but I am sure with all these turbo deals, it seems like its cheaper to go turbo than to make the Matrix S/C work on a GT.

That is true, and there is more potential with the turbo

Um no you can't. Not the TRD supercharger anyway. Even if you used a PFC with the TRD supercharger with cold air, header, and exhaust I think 200 whp would be lucky. Maybe if you got a full 3 inch exhuast.
I also think 500 cc injectors is overkill, you would probly be good with gts-310cc injectors. I ran that with my turbo.

Anyone looking for the 1ZZ S/C kit, search online for the Pontiac Vibe S/C. It's the same exact kit, and I suspect you can find it more easily and for less $$$.

Look for the carver kit on spyderchat. Cheaper, more power.

I know fitting shouldn't be a problem, the unit bolts straight on with no problems - It's just a simple replacement of the standard plastic intake plenum, throttle body and drive belt (Heaps of room under the hood!).
