I've been running with TRD springs on my stock struts for about 100K miles now and I feel that it is about time to upgrade. I've been looking into Tein Basics and I feel that is the way I want to go so can I have the ability to adjust ride height all in one package. For those who have had the Basics what's your impression of them?

A little off topic but still in the ballpark
What do you think of your TRD springs?
Also, what kind of drop did you achieve with them?

The TRD springs are great and holding up really well! Ride quality is excellent. I would highly recommend them. From what I've heard on the street, they are essentially Eibach springs with a TRD badge on them. The initial drop was 1.25" all around, but I really think it lowered my car a little more, closer to 1.75" in the front and a little less in the rear. They won't give your car that "slammed" look, but you won't be disappointed either. The drop is noticeable and provides some great handling versus stock.

First and foremost I'd highly recommend upgrading your sways. Will probably see the greatest difference with them.

I'd definitely be interested in hearing how the install goes and how the ride feels. How far do you plan on lowering the car?

i was looking at getting the tein basics also, they seem nice.
I wanted a 1.5-2" drop, can they do that?

ground controls and konis would cost you a similar amount and are light years better. They're just difficult to assemble.
