Hmm when does this happen???.. Do they have to announce before doing this???.. Today, I got a damn $150 ticket for doing 53 in 30 zone. Is it legal???

Is someone enforcing the speed limit illegal? No.

Do they have to tell you that they're gonna be speed radaring? No.

Is speeding illegal? Yes.

It's the same thing as Stoplight cameras...

DC Police to Install Photo-Radar Devices

District of Columbia police plan to add six photo-radar devices to catch
speeding drivers. The city has chosen 40 to 60 sites for enforcement.
Locations of the cameras will be posted on the DC Police Web Site.

Boyz, pay absolutely no attention to what the detective provided. You don't live in Washington so probably don't take the Post. Therefore you were not aware that they would be enforcing the law and cannot be held responsible.<IMG SRC="http://www.newcelica.org/ubb/smilies/cwm6.gif" border=0>
