The description says it has TRD springs, SS, and JDM door sills but the front fenders do fit the design of an Integra. It would be a pretty nice conversion :)

that is ugly and sad... if he wanted a celica he could have sold that integra and use all that money he used to convert it on the celica.

That car has been around for a long time now. It's either an Integra or Civic with a full front conversion. Actually, it's a very clean job.

Its an integra and the guy used to park it close to where I live. Ive seen it at many shows and it looks like ish in my opinion. I do give him props for all the work he did though.

It was also featured in a magazine i forgot which one but he always displays it with his car at shows. It just doesnt look right on an integ body. Lates

I've seen it in person at Nopi nationals last year. It was pretty clean. Not my style but it was clean. It was also on TV once.

IMO if the front bumper sides didn't stock out that much it would look way better

A lot of ppl are looking at other things, but the real tell tale is the A-pillars. There's no doubt it's a 'teg. ;)

yup definately an integra, look at the mirrors and the front bumper. it was in import tuner, read the article and it says integra.

who ever submitted this mixed up either the specs or the picture.

here's another integra with celica lights.

Hey,
All in all the guy put countless hours of time and probably a hefty sum of money to perform this conversion. It is a pretty good chamelion (from the front at first glance), and obviously the owner shows the car --- this is the type of thing the honda and acura classes need to do to win shows --- outrageous mods --- there will always be mixed opinions about this --- I feel that it looks OK --- for what it's worth, I also feel that there are a lot of other headlamps that would have gone better with the basic look of the car, but oh well. It isn't right that the Toyota's unique Ferrari like lamps are being ripped off though --- such is life.

look at the hood on the orange one... check out the fittments for the headlamps - very strange!

you'd think that those things would poke an eye out... or atleast get bent when shutting the hood :/

AND while we are still talking about that orange ride, is that a "PEP BOYS" sign behing it??? (i will not make an APC/Altezza joke here)

nccelica
06-18-2002, 08:16 AM
its nopi, there are signs everywhere on the walls

that orange integra was awesome, the fitment on the headlights wasnt the best, but the paint job was very nice, you can see in the doors the detail

toyota put those on the celica for a reason,

honda didn't for a reason...

that conversion :thumbdown

does not match the body lines

I recently talked a friend out of doing this conversion on his DelSlow. I think its lame, no matter how much time and money was spent. Just because it costs alot doesnt mean it looks good. This conversion just is not that original anymore.

but when you do japan conversions...like skyline lights....*drool*

I like that hood..... does anyone know what it is? Or if it will fit a 'regular' celica?

nccelica
07-07-2002, 05:30 PM
no, it wont, not without custom fitting... im sure the hood was cut to fit the headlights... and if you wanted it to fit a celica youd probably have to make it a lil wider or thinner in certain places plus extend the front down more
