Toyota does not need turbos or more HP to sell cars. All they need are cars that looks fast. Seriously, the only companies upping the HP on their cars are all not doing so well in the market.

Welcome to last month, and they are also selling them in Black. Good luch getting one of the 2,000 coming to the US.
belive me if they sell these out quick ... EXpect it to be another updrade you can get (kind of like top of the line) Protege, if they sell quick they will keep making them.

it already recieved many praises for it's handling, but lacks power... so, they kinda solved that... and they know damn well the aftermarket will help them out with even more power... looks like they may be another car out there to smoke us now...
Subaru realized this market, thus, the WRX appeared... and their sales were better than even they could imagine, not keeping up with production...
Mitsu knows this all too well... Enter the Evo 7 (maybe 8 then)...
VW Golf special editon (337?) is to be released with some trick stuff as well...
EVEN DODGE knows this market... welcome the Turbo Neon...
My patientence has worn thin... I've been looking for a different Toy... when i find one i want to my likings... it's good-bye to the Celica... I already have 3 buyers for my car... Unless something comes out to change my mind... The Hotchkis TVS is a good start...

Yeah I hear ya Cash Money, I just bought my GTS but judging by this thread maybe I should have waited it out a bit longer... seems like so many turbo cars are coming down the pipeline. Toyota should bring back the Supra as an affordable sports car priced like the 88-93's. Make it slightly smaller, lighter, possibly even a two seater, rwd, small inline six with single turbo pushing around 300hp. YES I would certainly buy!! Make it compete with the new 350Z... nevermind I'm dreaming. They should badge that rumoured 4000GT (non-turbo) a Lexus and not replace the Supra with it (another rumour). Either way, who the hell's going to be able to afford that thing anyways?!
