^^ if you have an oem bumper the plastic oem grill fits perfect and looks great
I actually got a universal mesh grill from ebay and cut it to fit my kaminari front bumper. It's light aluminum or steel...I don't remember but it works well, doesn't get nasty and corroded looking and they are paintable too if you want to change the color

I have a 2000 Gt. I know the grillcraft are stainless and I am just debating wether I should get one or not. I love the way they look but I don't know if its worth the money.

Grillcraft grills are supposed to be stainless. Why the rust?

Nope, they are steel, not stainless, unless they changed them since I had them back in the day. They fit VERY WELL. I just wish the upper one was 90 degrees to the ground (like stock) instead of sloping with the nose of the car.
Ah well, 03+ front end for me now. :gap:
Edit for photos:
I found some OLD pics of my car...
Ordered black grillcrafts... got silver.

^^^ My car looks nothing like that anymore.
Ditch the 00-02 front end, got an 03+ with a greddy front lip, and got topshop sides to go with the Greddy front and molly rear.

The install took about 2 hours. The upper grill was super easy to do, it only took about 20 minutes. The lower grill took about an hour and a half because there is not very much room to work. the grills total with shipping was about 250, I ordered them from andysautosport.com. This will be a much more difficule install without a right angle drill, If you have access to one I highly suggest you use it for this install. I also had to cut a drill bit down. The grills come with step by step directions. The directions are also posted on their website if you want to look befor you buy. I am very happy with the way they turned out.

No way that takes 2 hours..if you take off the bumper Id imagine it taking no time at all.
I don't really like how the grille is right at the edge of the openings..I would rather it be pushed back out of sight but still functional.

The install took me about 2 hours. That does not mean its going to take everyone else 2 hours. I have never taken the front bumper off of my car, It may have been faster to do it that way. I just did it exactly the way the directions said. I love how the grills sit right at the edge of the openings.
