In America, Pop culture dictates everything. Especially when it comes to language and its meaning. Like bad means good. And gay doesn't mean happy anymore. So if a majority of people refer to Nitrous Oxide Systems or N20 as NOS then the new meaning for nitrous is NOS. Just like when someone asks for a Coke that doesn't always mean they want a Coca-Cola.

but someone who is still referring to nitrous as NOS shouldnt be putting nitrous on their car IMO..

Dude,
First off NOS is just a short term for Nitriious Oxide System. Whether you call it N20 or NOS doesn't make a difference. Do you see where that comes from? Take the first letter of each word and blame there is NOS. I was asking a serious question because i am not sure what engine mods are needed first. So please from here on out serious replies only.

so whats your point.. nitrous oxide systems is still a company name.. not what you actually inject into your car :).. my point is if you want to be taken seriously then ask your questions using the correct terms not NAWS..
and to answer your question seriously IMHO you would be fine with a 50shot wet kit from either NOS or NX usnig a window switch, wot switch, and on/off switch with everything else stock youd be fine so long as the kit is installed correctly. Some people have run 75shot and others supposedly 100shot but there is no proof of that at all, I can only speak from experience and I ran a 50shot on my Celica with no problems induced from the nitrous..
