For what I saw the 911 won both races...he pulled easily but then shut down......And then the supra passed...In a road curse the supra would have been killed...That's a mayor demostration of turbo lag...

Uhh there is no comparison. It a stock Supra Turbo320 hp IE(13.20's in the 1/4) to a Porsche 911 Turbo IE(11.50's 1/4) WITH NOS! (650+hp= low 10's high 9's in the 1/4)You do the math.

FYI The Supra TT ranks right beside a 911 Turbo in a road course. Believe it. I didn't at first either until I did the research.

umm..i saw that in the supra forums....everyone was saying the supra won!....look in the videos.....the girl was freakin out.....she was like "he's comin, he's comin" (theres a joke somewhere in that but im not touching it)

In the second video it doenst look/sound like he let off, he was just putting up the windows and i still hear his engine roaring when the supra pulls up on it, but i dont know

turbo lag wouldnt be much of a factor here, both cars are turbo and its from a rolling start so they should probably be near there power band

uhhh, i believe the porsche won, a stock 1991 turbo S does low 12's high 11's, plus with high octane and NOS there is no chance for a STOCK supra TT.

DUH come on the supra won. You could see and hear that the Porshe was still WOT. Look at the body... going that fast if it was to slow down you'd see the momentum shift on the Porshes frame. SUpra Owned the Porshe

It's hardly a stock Supra. It has at least a cat back system and a turbo (SP70) upgrade. Of course the Porsche is going to jump ahead at first if it has a 100 shot of nitrous and the Supra is tuned for top end.

What the hell makes you think the Porsche won if the lady in the Porsche is like "OH SH1T HE'S COMING!" You think they were letting him catch up to do the Rose Bowl Parade wave?

I think the guys in the Supra were holding back to start, you can hear the guy say "do it" (hit the boost controller button), I think this was a demonstration of how much you can pull with the single Turbo SP70 as he totally ate up the lead the porsche had.

i got the impression that the supra was screwing with them. in the second video that lady was freaking out that he was coming...if the porsche had shut down why would she be yelling hes coming hes coming?
