View Full Version : Where's The Odometer?
Getting my gt-s 6 speed in 2 weeks. Sorry if this is a dumb question but in the photos of the interior, I don't see an odometer anywhere. Where is it located on the dash? Any photos to show location?

It's digital and under the gas gauge on the right side.

Man, that is a sweet steering wheel.
2002_GT:
I agree, awesome steering wheel. BTW, this is OT but what's with no pop-latch for the celica's hatchback, only key opening? All my hatchbacks were always opened by a latch.

u can open the hatch with the power lock switch, no separate latch, or u can open it with the key.
XY:
When you say "power lock" what do you mean? Like the button attached to my keys or elsewhere in the car?

Actually, you can use both. Using my keyless entry (hitting unlock twice) I can unlock the hatch. Also, using the power lock inside the car unlocks the hatch door.

2002_GT:
Are you saying that whenever you unlock your doors with the power locks you also pop the hatch?

Elliott, there is a latch that opens the hatch. The latch is conceled behind that part right above the license plate that says "Celica" on it. You just reach behind that peice and you will feel a latch.
I think that every one just got confused about what you were talking about. You cannot remotely pop the hatch on the Celica with the keyless entry remote, or by pressing anything inside the car. I think that all that 2002GT_Celica ment was that he can unlock the hatch with his keyless entry remote and open it with the latch.

Ok, I think I've got it. Perhaps I should just wait until I get the car and then I'll know what I'm talking about. Thanks for your input, though! :)
