I know you shouldn't shift from 2nd to 1st but when I do shift from 2nd to 1st, my engine squeals very very loud? it squeals at low and at medium rpms. Any ideas if this is normal?

My second problem is when I drive over a medium sized bumps with the front passenger wheel, something shutters fairly loud - any ideas what could be causing the shuttering shoud?

My third problem is the driver side front seatbelt making a sueaking sound right beside my ear.

I did a search on the belt tensioner and I have the same sqeaking sound when idling only when there is a lot of moisture - I know it is the belt tensioner but how can I get Toyota to fix it when it hasn't rained in a while?

Your help is greatly appreciated...

Thanks.

Here's what's GOING to happen over the course of the summer. Summer months usually mean more moisture in the air.. depending on where you live.

This will start happening EVERY SINGLE morning. Then it'll go away during the day. Park your car overnite at a dealership and have them start it up... pretty hard to miss.

Now the other thing would be to .. hehe.. wet down your car :) then go

Your dealership may have replaced others since there is a TSB for them. I am taking my car in for the 30k maintainance, and I mentioned the belt tensioner, and they said they have all the replacement parts in stock, and it would be no problem to replace.

Can anybody else comment on the other issues?
