Hey everyone, I posted 2 weeks ago about my Celica getting hit at the Irvine spectrum (someone banges the back bumper and the rear fender panel above it on the drivers side). I came out to my car and almost died.
Anyway, I'm thinking now is probably a good time to get a kit (front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper, possibly a hood scoop too). I want to get it all taken care of and get a good paint job at a good price.
I know many of you have had work done around here. Can you help me out with some reputable shops, prices for the work done, and any sort of advice that may be related?
I totally appreciate it.

There is going to be a sale at mbautosports meet on 12/30 if you are interested in one of the bodykits they are carrying I highly recommand you going. Get a kit and bring it to body pros and get it painted and installed (714) 539-7104 They also have connection to paintless dent removal guy which will not cost you an arm and a leg to fix your dent.
Hope that helps!

Hey man, thanks for the info! I definately think I'll check out the meet! Unfortunately, the hit was pretty nasty, and there was paint lost on my car already. Yes, the dent was sharp enough that the paint came off in a few areas :(
Hopefully this will all work out for the best though, I just got my Injen CAI working without the hesitation an CEL. So maybe things will work out.
Any more info about the MB meet would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I live in Turtle Rock Vista..i woke up at 7 to go to work.. woke up..my car was f-n hit up all along the drivers side.. when i drove it i had to turn my wheel 90 degrees to drive straight. it chirped when i turned. and when i got it fixed it still was jacked up.. a month later i got it out. 2 weeks later.someone keyed the passengers side....to all my celica heads out in irvine.. watch your babies!!!

Man your story SUX!! I will definately look out for my car...seems like the places I go (work, home, etc.) are in really nice areas, and no one messes with my car.
This weekend I pick up my Blitz Front Bumper, Buddy Club Rear, RMM Sideskirts, and MB Hood scoop. I'm getting em all painted and put on before the new year.
Awwww G'yeah!

Quartz: Thats great another modified Celica in Irvine area, most celica I see here do not have mods. Hope to see you driving around soon. Where are you having your kit painted and installed? Go to a reputable place to paint and install the kit, because you have to becareful where you go to. Some place can really screw up your kit and ruin the kit with install.
darkside40: That sucks dude. Thought TurtleRock is a nice place to live, never thought those stuff can happen to your car. That goes to show you haters are everywhere. Hope everything gets fixed soon. I think that sideswipe is by a driver that is drunk, so you might want to find out who has a party that day around your neighborhood. You just might find that hit and run driver and sue his ass (if he has a friend that lives in Turtle Rock he must also be fairly well off)
Just kidding, but atleast get the guy who is responsible for what happened to your car.

I have mods! Just not visible ones. ;) Hey mike, I was the one who called you last saturday about getting my visor tinted. I had it done on wednesday, but its not quite the way i wanted. I wanted the bottom part to arc down a bit, and not up. Do you know what i mean? Think they would fix it for me? Other than that, you guys do a really great tint job.
We need to have an irvine(only?) meet. hehe. i think theres a bunch of us. I live in the santa rosa apartments now, but im moving to sierra vista(tustin, near the marketplace) apartments early january.

To cut it straight they have to trim the film outside bottom of the windshield, freehand cut a section out then bring it up to top to trim the top edge. That means it is a straight line across, when put on a curved windshield it is going to look curved down. There is no shop that can cut freehand with a downward curve, if they try the edge will not be straight and will not be a good arc downward. I'm sorry to say that arc is impossible to be straight of curve downward.
