Hi every one.

I remember that quite a while ago a picture was posted of a Civic that had 2000+ Celica headlights molded into it. I was wondering if anyone still had that pic and could post it here, or if anyone knows where I can find that picture. I have a friend who owns a Civic and he was curious as to what it looked like, so if anyone knows where the pic of that car went, or has that pic and could post it, it would really help out alot! Thanks ;)

I hate to say it but originally I hated that but it has grown on me and doesn't look that bad... at least from the front ;) :D

That is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. To think out there somewhere there is something that looks like a Celica but has a Honda engine in it and even worse, a riceboy driving it... (shudder)

LOL, I don't know why so many people get so hostile over this. I think that the Celica headlights look great and that they look great on a Civic. I don't like the looks of the first Civic because of the body kit, but I do think that the Celica headlights look pretty sharp on it.

Don't worry Mistrimeat, I don't think that my friend is going to do this to his Civic because he wants to be one of a kind unique and this has been done before(apparently at least twice). Thanks again for the pics ;)

Ugg..

That is so unbecoming.

It's just totally unappealing to me. And the rear taillights look like the stole them off of a RX300.

I really don't see what's so original about it. All he did was steal the hood and lights of a Celica and slap them on a Civic.

It's called cut and paste. Blah.

Unless they are done right. I've seen some Accords with Silvia Headlights that looks clean. I've also seen some discusting cars like an Integra with Buick headlights and that ugly Transformer red widebody thing.

IMHO that silvia thing is soo played out.. there are sooo many accord and tegs with silvia headlight conversions... and import tuner seems to feature a car with it on every issue....

why? are silvia headlights cheap or something? i dont get it...

as for the civic above.. i dont care about the conversion and stuff, but when u put a toyota badge on a civic something's up. i mean for all that money he put into it, he coulda traded in that civic and got a real toyota, and modded it correctly. and yes... it does look like a deceptacon...

I actually know the guy. He spent a couple g's on his car but don't really remember how many. But, yes he lives here in Long Beach, in the east side. He goes to my school also at LBCC. But in my opinion, I think his car looks good. I was very flattered when I saw a Honduh trying to be a toyota much less be like a celica. Oh, and that autobot sticker that he has, that is his car crew. They are a highly publicized crew here in southern cali, and you really have to have a very show stopping car to be able to get in. BTW, his brother owns a green civic hatch with a mustang conversion, also from autobots.

I dont feel flattered I feel yucky. Its kinda like a Guy getting breast implants... sure it may flatter a girl to see a guy wanting them but its still WRONG AND GROSS... just like SUV tail lights, Celica healights, and a toyota emblem on a car thats confused.

Wow are you guys high on yourselves or what? I'm the friend that was looking for something different for a civic front end. I thought as ugly as the Celica headlights are they are very recognizable. I see its been done so I won't do it, but to those that think that conversions are stupid take a look at the real world. There is a lot of skill involved in doing it right and mine will be done right. If you want to just bolt or stick things on your car to customize it great, APC will be very happy. If you really want to get custom try and make your own modifications.

LOL, don't wast too much energy on them dobslob. I think that the main reason every one was so childish about the pictures is because the first posts were really against it and every one else just fell into line and started bashing it too. I wouldn't say that the people on this site are necessarily "high on themselves", they just want to fit in. If the first posts were from members saying, "wow, that looks really cool!", I'll bet that most of the rest would have been that way to.

The Veilside body kit is a good example of this. Many of you wern't around when the first pics of the Veilside were posted on NC.org. The first responces to the pictures basically said that it was disgusting, ruined the lines of the car, ricey, the worst kit ever, ect., so all the following responces were the same way. Now it is considered by NC.org members to be the 2nd best body kit made for the Celica, which can only mean that the reason it was so hated back then was just because the first few people hated it. It's "mob mentality" at its finest. Pretty sad, really...
