View Full Version : Real Quick Ground Control Question/s
I seem to find four different Ground Control products. Are they different from one another? If they are, are the Ground Controls for the stock setup interchangeable with the Ground Controls for the Koni setup?

No the Ground Controls are not interchangeable. If I am not mistaken they are different because the size of the strut body is different but someone might chime in with a better answer.

This is what you're looking for. Be sure to tell them what type of strut you plan to use.

The spacers between the strut and the collar are determined by the shock that you will be running.
Thanks for the replies everyone. I always appreciate it.

Ok, so I was looking at getting these as well and according to ground control they have ones that are compatible with the stock struts. My question is, how good will this setup be? Obviously it won't be nearly as good as getting aftermarket shocks, but will the ride be comfortable? And would these eventually damage the stock struts?
If it helps at all, all I'm looking for is something that will allow me to slam my car in the summer and raise it close to stock height in the winter (which the ground controls would)
any comments? Thanks in advance

Stock struts would work fine they just aren't ideal and while you're down there putting on the GCs you might as well replace them.
