Hello there!
I have a question for you people... i'm looking for some new needles, but not the original ones (orange painted). I want some transparent, none coloured ones...
I've changed the leds, thats why i want those needles :)

Well, you can transform your needles. Most people have. If you look at your needles, they are pretty much transparent, except there is a orange reflective film that brings the orange light up. You'll need to remove that with some solvents and I think sand paper?

i just took a realllllly fine sand paper... and sanded them down... they will look transparent

I heard somewhere that alchohol will take off the orange, haven't tried it yet though, waiting to get my lights for the blue gauges first.

i did it with mine... with nail polish remover.
worked like a charm. it's perfect.
Although i say to you guys who are going to do this with nail polish remover, dab it on a q-tip & rub the underside of the needles while they're still attached to the guages.
Ever since i took mine off to do this.. my calibration has never been the same

You can fix your calibration by using CRUISE CONTROL and drive next to another car at the same speed and just re-adjust your needle.....i took off my needles by accident and so i fixed it by having my fren drive at 70 on the freeway and i fixed it....its pretty accurate because i drove past a radar gun and i was like off by 1 mph (: just something to help you guys out

Thanks for your answers!
Just one more thing, the paint is on the backside of the needle? Or at the front? I'm not sure about that, thanks again :)
