My mechanic specializes in Toyotas and I was talking with him about the Celicas. I was asking him how much life I should expect to get out of mine. Supposedly one of his customers has a Celica with over 300k on it, and it still runs flawlessly for her. Haven't seen it with my own eyes, but no reason not to believe him.

over on the Matrix Owners forums we have a seen a few matrix's/vibes with over 300,000KM and miles actually. we found out the odometers in the car digitally max out at 299,999km for cdn models (the matrix runs the 1ZZ-FE and in the 03-05 model XRS' the 2ZZ-GE)

Quote from MO.com "Look on the bright side, 10 years from now we're all going to have the same milage on the odometer"

alot of cars can exceed those mileage as long as it is taken care of with regular maintenance and driven normal.

What about that fella who purchased a blu GT-S with about 240K? If you read this, just wondering how your Celi's holding up with regular maintenance and stuff. If I wasn't a little riceboy, I'd keep the Celi as long as I could (God forbid I total/wreck it). Current funds are supporting a little ninja 250ex and then in a few years an old SRT4.

How much did he want for that civic?

I am curious what a near mint condition car with 900k miles values at.

Usually the ^ the mileage the crappier the condition.

I don't see how you can still have the price that high. I'd say 5k tops.

I'd say 3K or 4K. That chassy has been through some serious work.

Me? :wiggle:
00 gts. original motor. tranny rebuilt @ 55k.(under warranty) Drives perfect, aside from the CEL.

I'm sure It would go 300k+ if I keep babying it.
EDIT: I payed about $3,550 for my GTS, but it didn't have a new engine or the TRD action package.
