thats just a blinking led . or put a alarm sticker on your car. you could hook up your own led to anything you want. you could make it blink in park or with e-brake up. why dont you get an alarm? any brand alarm will have a blinking led for free in the box.

ehhh i cant afford an alarm just yet cuz i just had everything stolen from my car.. haha. so i figured baby steps.. get some of the stuff i really want back in there and have the blinking led in there for now then eventually get the alarm

You can get a basic alarm for <$50 and you should install an alarm BEFORE you put stuff you really want back in there. A thief will want it, too.

i totally understand that and i have researched doing that but the way i got broken into wouldnt have set off a cheap alarm (window break and door never opened)... so i am just gunna save money and get a better one but first i need a few of my things back just to "enjoyably" operate my car

Glass break & shock sensor... most come w/a shock sensor.... the glass break.. another $7.... on a inexpensive one.... still < $50...

Although, 2way pager is the way to go.... in case you are too far to hear it. Still, under $100 http://www.ecarsecurity.com/Astra-777-p/777.htm

THEY will target you again.....

Sorry for your headache.... such a PIA... getting insurance... window replaced, replacing stuff, etc.

If you really want to go just the LED route.... get what you want to hook up to what you'll eventually be getting for an alarm. I'd have to look.... but, I think you can tap it off the unused N/O leg of the IG relay & it will come on whenever you shut off the car.

lol

Wired to battery with GND hooked to the + Parking Brake switch. It isn't as easy as I thought to find something that switches on when you shut off... w/o using a reversing relay or you could just wire it to a cheap mini toggle under the dash.

I think one of the pins in the unused relay slot is live all the time.

Otherwise, the easiest ones are:
10A STOP
10A TAIL
15A FR FOG
15A RADIO
15A S/ROOF
20A DOOR
20A FL P/W
20A FR P/W
30A DEF
