Just wondering if there are any Michiganders in here? I'll be headed back to Ann Arbor in July, should be there by the 12th... Buying a house outside of Chelsea.

Just wondering if I'll have any "celi" buddies there...

I'm in St Joseph / Benton Harbor area...but not for long. Headed back to San Diego in a few months. I haven't seen many celica's around here...but there are a couple that I see around town a lot: a red GTS, silver GT with rims, and a black GT.

A couple months ago I was on I-94 coming up on Benton Harbor and a silver GTS passed me like I was parked...too bad my car was brand new, or I would have run with him. Other than that, all I get is riced out corollas or cavaliers that want to play.

Can't wait to go home to Cali....

My parents live in Coldwater which is a short jaunt down 69 from Battle Creek... maybe we can meet up in Battle Creek some time?

I wish some of you guys and girls would bring your cars to some local events (autocross, Detroit Region, Saginaw Valley Region, West Michigan Region) and use them for what they were made for!
There is a race next Sunday in Flint that the Detroit Region is hosting. The put on good events!

afgan - is the Flint event a solo II? I've run a couple events when I had my Neon, and I'm curious to see how the Celica holds up. Any other Celica's going to be there?

That sounds good! I'm only about 15 min from Battle Creek so let me know sometime when you want to meet up. Hopefully it will be after I have a little bit more done to my car. So far all I have done is new springs and shocks, a new spoiler, and new wheels. I am ordering the Kaminari kit in about a month. That Chameleon guy lives in my town too, maybe I can convince him to drive his car over there too.

It is Solo2 and I would register online because it is getting pretty full. They will allow 200 or 220 cars. It is in Ypsillanti(forgot how to spell it. In the Detroit region, I am usually the only person racing a celica which makes no sense to me. I see many in the burbs and online. There will be hot competition in STS for me, which I love!
Go to myautoevents.com to find events in the autocross section and to register. Even if you don't run(if you haven't done before, we will show you everything!) find me and I can put you in my car for a good ride, if I'm not getting beat! I have a white celica.

My cousin Tyler Attends UofM and is one the head people with the Campus Newspaper. I haven't been on campus since the Duke/Michigan basketball game last December. I am still in the area frequently though. Just shoot me a email or I will do the same.

That show has been around for 5-6 years now. :wtf: suprised you haven't heard of it before... it's right in Downtown BC, if you turn North off of 94 and follow that road into town, in a Park accross from Taco Bell. I don't remember the street name... Usually a rice fest, but it's a local event that I might take a trophy in... worth the $20.00 registration.

Well, I was never really into modding my car until I met my b/f. And now it's just something that we do together. I didn't even start until about 6 months ago, and i've had my car for over 2 years. So that's probably why I never heard of it ;)
