first crank my car in the morning to do whatever need-be . it will rev high (yes that is common with alot of cars) well i give it gas and it just almost DIES like it's getting to much fuel or air i know it needs to be a right mixture of f/a ratio. i am about to put my gauges in to make sure when it happens if this is correct information OR. would i have a different problem. after about 10 mins of driving it's cool. but i have no low gear. a honda could beat it.
spark plugs?
coil packs?
fuel filter?
i just bought this car so i do not know what has been changed and what has not. but if i dont have to dump alot of money i would be happy. just got a carbon fiber hatch and hood and pillars. SO i am sorta broke :)
coilpacks go out on these cars often? i had a lincoln LS and they were known for it. so i am just woundering?
anyone can put any imput in to this?

i punch it in and it does not go anywhere...... 1/2/3/4/5/6 whatever gear i maybe sh*t even reverse! it's slow. no response time. and when i punch it in first. it is so slow my wife's auto honda can smoke it. it's only a 1.6. so something is missing or fouled out or something just is not right. i should have a little response and go when getting on it then once it hit's lift it will go ALOT more. but it's basically worthless no go. this is not normal for this car because i drove someone else car that is a GTS and it has good powerband until the LIFT.

NO the IAC is "Idle Air Control" that only control the idle unless you having idle problems. You could try cleaing that too. I just did that and mine was completely seized. It was so corroded that nothing was moving. My idle jumped from 1000 - 2500 when i idled.

my idle is fine. just thought it might have something or would loosen up some carbon. i am going to clean the MAFS and TB tomm and hope that helps. and also clean the intake filter.

hum... i bought some carb cleaner. so that would not work?

It might, but I wouldn't take a chance. The MAFS heats up, and if there's any oil or grease left from the carb cleaner, it'll cause the MAFS to overheat and damage itself. Get some non chlorinated brake cleaner (usually in a green can) or some electronics cleaner instead and spray the hell out of the MAFS.

Hey dasher17, I think it's time to change your signature, it is played out and I don't think it's funny. If you read the rest of the thread I started you would see how gay you are!
